Nora Aunor - The Most Painted Muse all over the world.

 I just realized today after blogging for several days now about the missing Cocoy Laurel paintings of Nora Aunor that Nora Aunor must be "THE MOST PAINTED MUSE ALL OVER THE WORLD" worthy of Guinness Book of World Record.

To begin with 20 Cocoy Laurel paintings of Nora Aunor as muse? July 10, 2025 might actually be true. It is becoming factual as more info are coming in.

And then a simple google search of Nora Aunor in paintings will give us so many artwork with Nora as muse.

As for me, I have three series of paintings with Nora Aunor as muse, one of which is titled Filipinism, La Aunor, Woman (clcik here for some info) This series have been exhibited in London and also have been featured in several video interview. Nora Aunor inspired 2004 painting is finalist for Art Collide "Open Theme" competition.

I also created ten (10) works on my secong Nora Aunor inspired series "NORA'S EYES" - Francis Tanseco 2nd painting series (2012-2013).

Not to mention the many template which in itself I can declare as final work for "Miracle" - 3rd Nora Aunor inspired painting series project. There is more than thirty (30) template in this project.

And how many artwork with Nora Aunor as muse have been created over many decades, as far as I know there are so many. 

I also wonder how many artworks were created during this On the spot painting contest on Nora Aunor "SUPERSTAR" show during the 70's. July 11, 2025.

Another artist portraitist in the name of Gary Alonzo created probably more than ten (10) portraits of Nora Aunor.

There are so many artists out there who have made Nora Aunor as their muse.

I could be correct by declaring that Nora Aunor is THE MOST PAINTED MUSE ALL OVER THE WORLD.

 Just like yours truly, Filipino actor, recording artist and painter Mr. Victor "Cocoy" Laurel who sadly passed away June 14, 2025 have also been inspired to paint Nora Aunor as his muse. How many times did he painted Nora Aunor?  I am intrigued coz I am a fan of other painters work especially if it is Nora Aunor as muse in a painting. Nora Aunor in "Manghuhula" to start shooting, says Mari Cusi.

Ms. Marie Cusi and "Manghuhula" screenplay. Ms. Mari Cusi, a number one Noranian, a mover  and organizer of and in several Nora Aunor fans club, and a personal friend to Philippines National Artist for Broadcast and Film Nora Aunor have confirmed that Bong Lozano's "Manghuhula" screenplay will start shooting immediately after Nora's angioplasty. "Sipag talaga ni Ate GUY" says Marie Cusi on her facebook post immediately after the passing of Ms. Nora Aunor on April 16, 2025. "Last April 8, twag sya" confirming that before Nora Aunor went into surgery for Angioplasty, she was asking "sis Marie, pls ask direk Bong when na shoot of Manghuhula this April?" to which Marie replied "Ate Guy, I can ask pero focus ka muna sa Angioplasty mo".  The puzzle is coming together slowly but surely. This info solves the question of a Cocoy Laurel painting of Nora Aunor. This blog is dedicated to a great Filipino painter Cocoy Laurel and our beautiful and favorite muse Ms. Nora Aunor.
