The Lonesome Death of Alfie Anido on his Birthday.
In a world full of injustice, God wants us all to be our brothers keepers.
In a world full of hate, God wants us all to serve others and be kind.
Not an easy task in a world of the survival of the fittest.
I wrote this poem which I would like to be made into a song, and if there are composers out there who would volunteer to put a melody to this, then this will be splendid. Preferably a human being who makes music from God and not an AI who makes music out of God.
In the photo below is the actor Alfie Anido and Nora Aunor. Both are gone.
Written today, the 25th of July 2025 in the USA.
Song or Poem Title is:
The Lonesome Death of Alfie Anido on his Birthday.
Verse 1
It was your 22nd birthday, with your kind eyes and smile, a stranger came.
Full of hate and jealousy, a very influential of men.
A day short of New Year, sealed by cruel hate.
A life gone and extinguished, five days after Christmas break.
That unjust night, a sudden grief, sealed by cruel fate.
Verse 2
T'was meant to be a festive birthday, a bright future, way ahead of you.
A gunshot sound, life cut short, an investigation ensue.
A day of infamy, we're not meant to say.
That you didn't took your life away, rumors of a suspects shame.
That unjust name that means enrichly and gather wealth in flame.
Chorus
What a lonesome death of Alfie Anido on his date of birth.
Oh the lonesome passing from a cruel and senseless day of death.
You who got away with murder, offense and fault.
Will justice be served, as he walk free will there be remorse?
A haunting question for all, will the rumor persist and insist?
Bridge
The accused is back in power, an unrepentant coward.
A stain in societies conscience, a sin that time cannot restrain.
An escape from the justice of men, cannot take flight in the Divine.
As the town whispers on the ever slow grinding justice.
After all the darkness only love truly remains.
Outro
A life cut short, a justice still waits.
Of the lonesome death of Alfie Anido, is this his fate?
A life that ends through a murderous birthday gift.
If a man of fame cannot get a sound maxim.
How much more for the peasants and the great unwashed doctrine?
A reminder that justice still cries and love never dies.
