"IMELDARELLA" An un-published book.

 Imeldarella - is one of the many drafts and titles of my musical about Imelda Marcos. I published it online and decided to un-published again.

It is a collection of all the lyrics I created for my musical. It was intended to be an opera however when I finally launch this it ended up as a musical - and just a showcase or highlights of some of the songs.

The cover of this book is a sketch of Imelda Marcos that I drew back in 1988. Photo taken at my mother's apartment in San Francisco, California, USA.

Cocoy Laurel's three paintings of Nora Aunor?

 Just like yours truly, Filipino actor, recording artist and painter Mr. Victor "Cocoy" Laurel who sadly passed away June 14, 2025 have also been inspired to paint Nora Aunor as his muse. How many times did he painted Nora Aunor?  I am intrigued coz I am a fan of other painters work especially if it is Nora Aunor as muse in a painting. As far as I am aware, Cocoy Laurel might have painted Nora Aunor three times since 1970 till his passing in 2025? As for me, I have three series of paintings with Nora Aunor as muse, one of which is titled  Filipinism, La Aunor, Woman (clcik here for some info)  This series have been exhibited in London and also have been featured in several video interview. Cocoy Laurel painting article found today c/o Isidra Reyes.

 The puzzle is coming together slowly but surely. This info solves the question of a Cocoy Laurel painting of Nora Aunor. This blog is dedicated to a great Filipino painter Cocoy Laurel and our beautiful and favorite muse Ms. Nora Aunor. Sobrang mag-e-enjoy kayo sa mababasa niyo below and ang lakas sobra ng kilig factor nito. By the way, as an aside info, "Kilig factor" is a Filipino phenomenon. NORA AUNOR - Cocoy Laurel's "Mona Lisa"?

 Did Cocoy Laurel painted Nora Aunor to rival Mona Lisa in 1970? As far as I know, Cocoy Laurel have painted a Nora Aunor portrait about three times.  Click here for info of the three paintings with Nora Aunor as muse by Cocoy Laurel.
