A birthday poem for the 3 year old me - Francis Tanseco.

Today, I wrote a song or rather a poem for my little 3 year old me as inspired from looking at my old photograph below.

Francis Tanseco at 3 years old.

Here is the poem for myself but also for all of you.

Let's celebrate today! (Title)

Verse 1

Say, One, two, three.
You little one on that cute little onesie (horsie).
Another year, another milestones to be.
Come on, clap your hands, and say, shout it, hooray!
Crawl towards me, giggle, giggle, you fill my heart with glee!
I love watching you learn and grow, my baby, ever so happily.

Verse 2

Say it, mama, papa.
You little one with your giggles, and wiggles sway
Another birthday, so bright and so sweet today.
Come on, sing along, sing happy birthday to me.
Sprawl forward like a pro, explore, discover, you'll be like me someday.
I love you my little darling, you fill me with joy and pride today.

Refrain

Happy Birthday, say happy, happy birthday.
Let's celebrate today.
Many love , presents and well wishes coming your way.
This joy you bring, so sweet, funny, curious, adventurous.
Something for me to cherish as you grow and live free.

Verse 3

Say cheers! cheers, for baby Francis!
You cute little one, an apple to my eyes.
Another year, another birthday sweets and toys.
Taste it, your birthday cake, but first, blow the lit candles.
Call me daddy mommy, balloons for you, and your favorite toys.
Let's celebrate your birthday, many more years to come your way.

Fade.

Come on everyone, sing along with me.
Let us all sing my birthday refrain.
