Rosella Bianan: Leading the Charge for the "One Love, One Legacy" Docufilm and the Nora Aunor Museum
MANILA, PHILIPPINES — As the Philippine entertainment industry prepares for a landmark look into the past, Rosella Bianan has emerged as a key "mover" and driving force behind the upcoming documentary film honoring National Artist for Film and Broadcast Arts, Nora Aunor, and renowned stage actor and painter Victor "Cocoy" Laurel.


As the dedicated head of the Facebook group Universal Guy&Cocoy Fans Club Legacy, Bianan has been instrumental in mobilizing support for this cinematic project. The docufilm, titled "Nora Aunor and Cocoy Laurel: A DOCUMENTARY - One Love. One Legacy.", seeks to explore the deep, artistic, and often untold bond between the two icons, famously known for their classic love team in the 1970s.

The documentary aims to celebrate their enduring connection, which spanned over 50 years, from Lollipops and Roses (1971) to their later years.

  • Premiere Date: May 26, 2026, at Lime Resort Manila, Pasay City.
  • Mission: The documentary is a, "movement that has garnered many believers that their emotional connection was genuine, deep and continued to endure until their passing". A major goal is to support the establishment of the Nora Aunor Museum.

The project is a collective effort supported by various dedicated fans and core group members from both the Philippines and abroad, including key members involved in the Universal Guy&Cocoy Fans Club Legacy and various online communities focusing on the "Nora Cocoy" legacy.
Connecting the Arts: Bianan and Francis Tanseco
Bianan’s passion for supporting artistic talent extends beyond film to the fine arts. She is recognized as the number one voter for Francis Tanseco, a contestant in "The People's Artist" art competition, an initiative associated with Johnny Depp. This platform focuses on empowering artists and allowing the public to recognize talent. By backing Tanseco, Bianan proves her commitment to nurturing artistic endeavors that resonate on a global level.
The One Love. One Legacy docufilm represents more than just a nostalgic look back—it is a celebration of a lasting, albeit quiet, love story that "transcended even death itself".

 Just like yours truly, Filipino actor, recording artist and painter Mr. Victor "Cocoy" Laurel who sadly passed away June 14, 2025 have also been inspired to paint Nora Aunor as his muse.  Did Cocoy Laurel painted Nora Aunor to rival Mona Lisa in 1970?
