LOVE HOMILY - A MONOLOGUE.

Dearly beloved... we gather not to mourn a loss, but to question a mystery. A love that lasted sixty years, yet lasted not a day in matrimony. A bond that held the world captive, yet remained unconsummated in the flesh. Why?

Maraming katanungan ay sadyang walang kasagutan.
Bakit hindi sila nagpakasal nung malakas pa ang mga palakpakan?
Ang pagmamahalan ba nila ay para sa entablado ng tao o sa Diyos?
Bakit hindi humantong sa pisikal na ugnayan ang kanilang relasyon?
Ito ba ay busilak na pag-ibig sa mundong ito? 
O dalawang kaluluwang nawalan ng pag-asa.

Wala na si Nora, kapiling na sya ng mga Santo at mga Anghel.
Wala na rin si Cocoy, kay Bathala sya'y nakikiusap.
Ang pag-iibigan nila ay isang tipan, hindi nasuulat, ngunit nararamdaman.
'Love is patient, love is kind..." (1 Corinthians 13)
Maybe their love needed no ring to bind.
Saying: "Sayang at sad love story."
But in the end, it was their own story.

 Just like yours truly, Filipino actor, recording artist and painter Mr. Victor "Cocoy" Laurel who sadly passed away June 14, 2025 have also been inspired to paint Nora Aunor as his muse. How many times did he painted Nora Aunor?  I am intrigued coz I am a fan of other painters work especially if it is Nora Aunor as muse in a painting. As far as I am aware, Cocoy Laurel might have painted Nora Aunor three times since 1970 till his passing in 2025? As for me, I have three series of paintings with Nora Aunor as muse, one of which is titled  Filipinism, La Aunor, Woman (clcik here for some info)  This series have been exhibited in London and also have been featured in several video interview.  In search of an answer. If anyone knows, please contact me. TIA. Eto po ba ay isang painting? Is this a painting or just a photo? The blog below with a link is a photo of actor John Rendez with the painting in the background. Does this mean that this painting exist and is in the house of Nora Aunor?  Did Cocoy Laurel painted Nora Aunor to rival Mona Lisa in 1970? As far as I know, Cocoy Laurel have painted a Nora Aunor portrait about three times.  Click here for info of the three paintings with Nora Aunor as muse by Cocoy Laurel. This image above is a photo I took from the Nora Aunor and Cocoy Laurel movie "Lollipops and Roses" which was shown on cinemas in 1971. Where is the original of this painting?
