Nora Aunor's gratitude to John Rendez. She wants John to be supported and successful.

 Nora Aunor is a human being known to for her good deeds. Her intentions are shown in her actions and not in words. She was never a Superstar in essence, she was just a good human being.  Nora Aunor - the case for Sainthood? May 14, 2025  is what I blog to remind us how to be our brothers keepers. I think she will be happy for us all if we give our full support and encouragement to the one person who stood by her in her last leg of her worldly journey - I am talking about John Rendez. After Nora's passing, the focus was on all her family except one person who truly matters to her in the last 35 years of her life when the spotlight have deemed and the friends have dwindled and the money took a break from rolling in - this person is John Rendez. Is it Pitoy Moreno on Cocoy Laurel's "Floral Dress" in "Movie Queen" painting?

 Help me find the answer my dear reader. You are my one very important reader and  you know who you are. A garment that features a design or pattern of flowers and plants is called "Floral Dress". This style is a signature of Pitoy Moreno's design. It is what he is known for.  This design gives a sense of freshness, feminine and a romantic feel. It is popular among designers who love nature. Their respect for God's creation is reflected in their design which caters to various occasions and seasons. Pitoy Moreno's floral design is indeed timeless. It is staple in his fashion shows overcoming the changes and trends over time. If Vivaldi have a composition called "Four Seasons", Pitoy Moreno's designs are definitely a "Star for All Season" - a title most commonly used to describe the thespian Vilma Santos.  Nora Aunor - An enigma. A legend. A Superstar. Philippines National Artist for Film and Broadcast Art. Cocoy Laurel - a master painter. In Francis Tanseco's very humble opinion should be declared Philippines National Artist too. Both I consider a national treasure. Who designed the dress that Nora Aunor is wearing in the above Cocoy Laurel's "Movie Queen' painting? Is it an imagination of the painter only? Juan Luna and Cocoy Laurel's muses - An Enigmatic Love Story. Part Two.

 Victor "Cocoy" Laurel did not only painted Nora Aunor in 1970 which was featured in a magazine that I blogged  Cocoy Laurel painting article found today c/o Isidra Reyes.  He also wrote songs dedicated to his muse. The missing 1970 Cocoy Laurel portrait painting of Nora Aunor. It appears that Cocoy painted two portraits of Nora Aunor in the 1970's or thereafter and are both missing to this day. One evidence of this painting is the above highlighted link of an article that proves that Cocoy gifted his love interest and muse Nora Aunor a portrait - this painting is currently missing.  Cocoy Laurel missing 1970 portrait painting of Nora Aunor. Cocoy Laurel's "Movie Queen" and Francis Tanseco's "Superstar".

  Cocoy Laurel's "Movie Queen" and Francis Tanseco's "Superstar" paintings. Cocoy Laurel painted Nora Aunor and portrayed her in two paintings as the idolized and adulated thespian.  Whereas Cocoy Laurel have this "Movie Queen" painting, I just realized that I did a similar painting portraying Nora Aunor as the entertainer  she is in my piece I titled "Superstar". Supertar is a title that is associated to Nora Aunor because of her TV musical variety show with the same title. A musical variety show that began in 1970 and lasted for 22 years. It was broadcasted on RPN 9 and IBC 13 on primetime Philippine TV. Nora Aunor started as a singer from winning as the grand champion in "Tawag ng Tanghalan'. Her prominence in singing and eventually acting solidified her stature as indeed a Superstar. For related stories, click on this links below.
